    Tara Lane

Tara Lane is a story about a young woman in a Muslim family in Bombay—the Mushtaqs—a gracious and cultured and, above all, an upright family which in course of time begins to disintegrate. Labour troubles undermine the family business and as family’s privileged life-style is threatened, it moves, almost without knowing it, towards the thin line where corruption begins.
