Keshav Malik
Keshav Malik (b. 1924), born in the Punjab province of Pakistan (then India), is an Indian poet, critic, arts scholar, and curator.
He graduated from the Amar Singh College in Srinagar, Kashmir in 1945. From 1947-48, he was a personal assistant to Jawaharlal Nehru.
Keshav Malik has served as the art critic for The Hindustan Times and The Times of India for long periods of time. He has published ten volumes of poetry, and edited six anthologies of English translations of Indian poetry.
Keshav Malik was awarded the Padma Shri in 1991 and in 2004 was made a Fellow of the Lalit Kala Akademi for lifetime contribution.
